I would most likely rate this worse, however it's likely just that the fragrance isn't for me, and it's rare to find powerful colognes now a days, the package was very high end as well.The initial scent is pleasant, but it's just a bit to spicy smelling for me.I will likely be looking into more colognes from the company.
I have tested Onyx by WANI a few times over the past month, and I'm still unsure how I feel about it. When I first smelled Onyx, it didn't elicit an immediate yes or no. The scent is strong and a bit overpowering at first, but not off-putting. It means more masculine even though it's labelled unisex. Lots of women enjoy deeper, richer scents, though. I find the amber and musk notes quite strong. Lacks sweetness overall. Personally, I would pair a lighter-smelling vanilla or clean scene to balance it out.Scent notes:- Top notes: oriental, woody- Heart note: raspberry (I do not smell this)- Base notes: amber, benzoin, birch, cedarwood, moss, musk, patchouli, tonka, vanilla, vetiverThe first thing that struck me is how nicely it's packaged. Onyx comes in a black "leather" box with a soft lining inside that compliments the color of the bottle and scent note tag. The bottle itself is sleek with gold printed details and cap. It's design (and scent) is unisex, making it a nice gift for anyone.
It's hard to give a bad review for a fragrance, especially for this one. The packaging was very nice especially compared to some other fragrances I have but the scent is not for me. That's the hard part about buying fragrances online is you never know. It's VERY strong and 1 spray lasted in my room for days.
A very musky and long lasting aroma, comes in a good volume amount for long lasting. I am more of a citrus type lighter scent, but this works too. Smaller amounts needed as it is very powerful. As for the seductive part, we will see.
This eau de parfum is kind of a mess, really. While the presentation is pretty nice, its fragrance is very strong and can't decide what it wants to be. It's very earthy and woody at the top, with some fruity undertones which results in a fragrance that doesn't really suit anyone. I can understand why this is marketed to men and women, because I couldn't say who it's made for. And its strong smell will stay on you for a long time, so unless you've read the different notes and you're certain it will fit you, I'd say there are much better options out there, especially at that price.
